ESC not working(?)
Hi,
I have 2 identical cars for my sons. For both cars I replaced the engine for a brushless GoolRC 3650 and a new ESC. Now the issue: 1 is running fine, the other runs for a second and then blocks. As a test I set the low voltage cut off to 0 V with no result. Both cars run on NiNH batteries. When the motor is running without load (car upside down), there is no issue.
Any help is appreciated.

Check to see if you have it programmed correctly
Check your wiring for any loose connections.
I'd then check to see if you have the ESC configured correctly. Mainly checking that you have it programmed for sensored or sensorless.
Also, check the sensor wire (if it has one).

Try switching the esc's around and see if the problem follows the esc. Esc or motor could have a cold solder joint had a couple cheapo motors and escs that had cold solder joints basically too much resistance somewhere or the esc is a dud (something wrong internally).
