Default Savage X and Reverse Module...????

I have been asking HPI questions about the Savage X and the reverse module and whether or not the 2 way radio that comes with it will work..their response was, "No, the 2 channel has a mixer in it so you will not need a 3 channel radio". Can someone explain this to me? I was under the impression that the 2 channel radio with the Savage X would not work with a reverse module and was therefore considering the LST2 or a 4.6SS kit and buying a transmitter, etc. separately....thanks!!

it will probally work like an electric car, where once you come to a complete stop, when you hit the brakes, it will go reverse, they mix the operation of the throttle and reverse servo,

if you wanted a 3 channel radio, why wouldn't you still get the savage x, and buy a radio for it, and sell the stock radio?

u can get any mixer for a car but its gotta be for a car

all it does it wen the servo is in a certain position it switches over to the other servo wich u have pre programmed in 3-5 seconds or ur adjustment if its adjustable and then it flips over to the reverse servo so u can get any kind of mixer but its gotta be for a car NOT AIR
