I know it's an old beat dead horse BUT....with unfortunate news of Kershaw is anybody selling a kit (complete) for converting a nitro savage.
My 4.6X has been sitting on shelf for 2 years now and I have the stock electronics I swapped out of a mt4 G3 so I can do the swap for cheap and kids can run it or I can sell it....not much market for used nitro anymore.
Any help appreciated.

You could probably convert it by sourinc parts from other brands or make parts yourself. What you need is really a motor plate and a motor mount with slots so you can use different pinions. Alza makes a motor mount and motor plate, but maybe you can find used ones on ebay from HPI.

That's exactly what he asked Funniekid. No need to tell everyone how shitty You think Kershaw is. All he wants to know is where else he can buy an electric conversion.

I have no use for over machined nice looking parts that are over priced...Funniekid...it's a toy truck for my kids to bash instead of sitting on a shelf.
There's more to it than a motor plate...battery trays, pinion and a idler gear to eliminate the 2speed if the limited research I've had time to do.
I'm just trying to get this done cheap and easy. Kershaw's kit fit the bill but in the big picture a man's passing far outweighs this little hobby.
Show some class.

Did you notice that I wrote "sourcing parts from other brands or make parts yourself"? Also I have heard that kershaw don't ship stuff anymore so even if you wanted to get those stuff it would be impossible. As for Alza parts being over priced, let me laugh if anything they are under-priced.
Generic battery trays can be used and mounted on the TVP and you can use the flux idlear gear to lock the transmission:
RC How To | Savage Nitro to Brushless Conversion 2 | RCCOH
But I don't agree, we speak about the parts itself not the personal issues of the creator. And who talks about "shelf queens", you should learn more about how the terms are used instead of just spouting them out.

Was just hoping for something easy.
