Let me clarify what Cheng said in a way people might understand. I really couldn't understand what he was saying so I don't want anyone to be as confused as Cheng was.

LSRCC has decided to try qual points for the New Years Rumble. This is the perfect race to try it out in preparation for the World of Wheels.

What we are going to be doing is using 2 out of 4 rounds to seed for the mains, meaning your two lowest point totals will count towards your qualifying position. Any ties will be broken by overall fastest run.

I've spoken with a handful of people and everyone that I have spoken with is on board with trying out qualifying points.

Also, I would like to clarify how seeding is going to work. There will be a resort after every round. The first round will be resorted based on fasting *three* consecutive laps, this has proven to be a wonderful way to do the first round resort. After the second and third round there will again be a new sort, these will both be by *single* fastest overall run.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

Well said.

Also, What this does, is eliminate the issue that we have seen at nearly every national race in the last year on black carpet. When the track gets faster every round, the racers are forced to get a good run in on the 4th qual. Time and time again we see guys dropping many spots because of small issues in the 4th round. This makes every round important and rewards good racing every time you set the car down.

See you all soon!!

+100 on qual points MMR has been running them for two years now. Makes Every qual matter. Seeding is just another qualifier it will all work itself out in the resorts. Make sure you finish your round it may matter at the end of the day! 👍

Oh, you mean they're going to run the standard qualifying format that 99% of all IFMAR, ROAR, EFRA, FEMCA, FARMAR events use?

Seems reasonable!

ROAR doesn't use qual points for carpet onroad, oval or 1/5th scale.

You don't pull over in Rocket round either, so how is this a change?

Just so people know, the track opens at 7pm officially for setup and practice. People are not going to be allowed in the building other then the setup crew before that point. The armory has expressed that they don't want a ton of people in on Friday when they are still open for business.

As soon as the armory is closed and setup is done then people will be let in. Please do not start pounding on the doors to get in at 5pm, it's not going to be allowed.
