Default USVTA RULES?

Can anyone tell me the finer points on USVTA?

-What the current rules are and if I can run any ESC I want?

-I assume it has to be a Novak motor? Any 25.5 Novak in particular?

-Do I need a cockpit driver deal for this class?

And please sign me up for this class as well.

Thanks
Brandon

Just booked a room at the holiday inn for the race! Two queen beds, so I have room to roam, unless someone needs a place. Excited to run this race for the first time, even if it is only one class..

The DECC is located at, 350 Harbor Drive Duluth MN. The race happens in Pioneer Hall, If you look at the map Ill link below, You can enter any door. Door #7 is the closest to our track, Go through that and hang a right and walk tword the blue wall. Were at the back end of that room. Track will be open Friday during the day, still trying to iron out times the promoters will allow us to be in. As soon as we know that it'll be posted here. What we do know, Practice friday during the day, times TBD, Race Friday night, Sat, Sun.

Just to be clear, all usvta rules will be in effect minus driver? Correct? Novak motors only. No fantoms etc?

Yes. USVTA rules minus driver

9am we can get in on Friday morning

Open practice from 9-1pm

1pm starts controlled practice. Here's how controlled practice will go:
30 minutes of foam pan car- 1/12, wgt, spec truck
30 minutes of MMR VTA, USVTA, WGT-R
30 minutes of USGT, TC
15 minutes of sportsman

We will run through this cycle twice.

Racing starts at 5pm sharp

The first round will be a seating round where the top 3 fastest laps will seat you into heats. The entire first rounds overall run will count as one of your four qualifiers.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!! This one will be epic!! Drive safe and see you all Friday morning at 9am.

After some additional consideration, time allotments for each class will be subject to slight revisions on the day of the race based upon how many entries each class has.

The overall schedule will remain the same.

Thanks everyone for coming to the 10 annual State Champs race in Duluth it was the biggest one so far and the racers made it a well ran event by being ready to race and cornering when needed. I would like to thank everyone that rolled up their sleeves to get this race off and running. This is a race that is put on by racers and ran by racers so it can be a real task to race and be involved with the running of the race the way that Joe Jr., Andrew, Robert and myself have done over the last 10 years. We have been fortunate to have had this commitment in the past and it is appreciated by all.

Hope everyone had a good time and the promoter wants us back again next year.

Thanks Again for supporting our club and this race!

Gary
