VTA
-USVTA rules will be followed with exception of the driver figure and car numbers. You DO NOT need to have a driver figure or car numbers on all four sides. Another notable change is that any ROAR approved speed control set to blinky will be allowed. That is an amendment made in June of 2014 to the USVTA rules. See official USVTA rules herehttp://www.usvintagetransam.com/rules/

USGT
-USGT rules are listed at the bottom of the page under the USVTA link. ROAR approved 21.5 motor, hard case 2s lipo, 1450 gram minimum weight, sports car body (Ruels also found at bottom of USVTA page. See link above.)

ROAR approved speed control list can be found here http://www.roarracing.com/approved_non_timing_escs.php

ROAR approved motor list can be found here http://www.roarracing.com/approved_brushless_motors.php as well as the forum located here http://roarracing.org/4rmb/forumdisp...otor-Approvals

Novice class:
Trying to get some of the younger group going on this. Run what you brung type of class, 4 minute qualifiers, is exempt from rule of needing 4. if there are two kids we will run it to try and get them some track time.

Which track are you going to be running at predominately?

Pingree always has 12th stock, 12th 13.5, and it seems like. the VTA, and USGT classes depend on who comes from out of town, although VTA did have a decent turnout towards the end of the year with Minot and Grand Forks guys showing up more often.

Sawyer always has a good amount of VTA cars, and 12th scale stock is always ran there as well. USGT usually has a few and occasionally we ran wgt. In Sawyer this year we are implementing a Spec motor and using a 21.5 to slow the cars down for the smaller track.

We will have the Sawyer club meeting next Thursday Oct. 1st down at city hall starting at 7pm. Need to elect officers and discuss some two day business.

Pingree will be having a practice day on Oct. 10th. $10 per person for as many cars and laps as you can run in a day.

It is a motor we spec'd with the help of Frank and Brian at CRC. It is not a name brand motor. Something we ordered special for the club. If you are interested in racing in Minot often let me know and we can get you on the list.

If it is a once in a while deal we would probably tell you to just run a 21.5. Note that the two day races that we host (Northstar Classic and Wild About Wheels) will be 17.5 for stock.

Does stock or SS have a better turnout at most of the races? Including the 2 day events.

Stock has previously had the best turnout across the board. However, 13.5 has been growing in recent years.
