After a class vote on Saturday, the Legends class no longer has a 2.0 rollout max rule but instead has a 5 second breakout rule. It made for some fun racing with new faces up front.

Also, Slash Mods have a little more detailed rules on shocks.

Please see the updated rules in the first post of this thread. All rules are current there.

Monday December 28th
We have added a Special Race Night. Doors open at 5pm. For those of you asking for more track time, here is your chance! MMR will be laying down new carpet and we will be the first to run on it that Monday night.

Upcoming Oval Events

Monday December 28th- Doors open at 5, racing starts at 6:30
- All MCOR classes welcome for a normal 2 rounds of qual and mains. This is a non points event so come and work on your hot rods and get that much needed track time.

Saturday January 9th- Doors open at 10am, racing starts at 12:30
- All MCOR classes welcome for 3 rounds of qual and mains. The ASA Late Models are the featured class and will run the 1st Annual "Dick Trickle 99" as their A-Main.

We're less than 2 weeks away from our next Saturday Series event. We will be organizing the practice before hand a little bit to get racers some clean track to dial in their cars. Legends, this will help you find that 5.0 sec laptime so if you don't have a personal transponder, you may use a house transponder during the controlled practice time.

Also, our ASA Late Model class will be running the 1st Annual MCOR Trickle 99. With prizes being awarded to the top 3 A-Main finishers, this 3 segment race should prove to be exciting. We will be qualifying 5 directly to the A and bumping 2 from the B making it a 7 car field. Adam will be running pre and post race tech so racers, be sure that your equipment meets and is within all posted MCOR rules. ASA cars will be the last class running throughout the day.

Doors open at 10am and racing will start at 12:30. We will try to run controlled practice starting after 11 or so. Get there early to work out bugs and find another tenth.

Is MMR still doing LeMans style onroad racing? Did an F1 class ever catch on? If so, what are the rules and perhaps a suggestion on which kit to start with would be appreciated. Thanks.

MMR races onroad every Wed night and every other Sunday during the winter. They have 5 or 6 different classes that are very popular now, F1 may be one of them. You may want to check out the other MMR threads as this one is geared towards the oval racing at MMR.

Big race day tomorrow and Slash Mods are the featured class. Should be alot of fun as we've been getting 10-12 of them at least lately. ASA Late Models are also providing good car counts and close racing. Legends were shaken up a bit after implementing the break out rule making it anyone's race. Cmon out, doors open at 10am and racing starts at 12:30.

This Saturday is the last oval event of the season at MMR. We're finishing up our points series so awards will be given out after the races. Also on tap is an always incredible raffle, racer appreciation pizza lunch, the 2nd running of the MCOR Legendary 100, along with all the usual racing. Doors open at 10am and racing starts at 12:30.

Summer Heat is almost upon us. During the 4 summer events, we are able to run either the old or new rules packages but come winter, the new rules will be in place. We hope to see everyone on Tues the 14th.
