First off id like to say hello! I'm just looking at getting back into this hobby after being away for many years. The last time i raced off-road was in hartford probably 14 years ago haha. Anyway, i guess i question is, what are the popular classes? I'm leaning toward 1/8th buggie. Any advice is welcome, I can only hope that you guys are more welcoming than the response i got from the on-road race scene that i planned to get back into this winter at hobbytown. They really know how to make a new-comer feel welcome . So what do people run in this class? I'd like to run electric and not nitro, what works and doesn't work on this track??

1/8 electric buggy is by far the most popular class. cant go wrong with a electric 8th!

Cars that dont work as well are 10th scale cars, 8th scale is the way to go for brandon track its alot of fun! A couple cars that are good for electric 8th scale i would say would be the Associated RC8BE.2, Tekno, Kyosho. I would run a 1700, 1900 kv electric motor either Tekin or Reedy. Off Road is more fun then Carpet in my opinion!

LMAO good one Nathan. I was being serious though because I don't know any person at HobbyTown that isn't nice and will answer any question that anyone has. It's a great place to go shop and race.
