What kind of motors you guys running in open sc? Would a 17.5 be too slow?

17.5 would probably be ok, as long as it can clear all the necessary jumps...not sure what Andrew has planned, but it's possible you might want something in the 10.5 range (or even 13.5) so you're not short on power depending on the layout.

Only 2 more days until the start of 30 DAYS OF OFFROAD!!

I'll have the B4 and SC10 ready to rock for Wed, Fri, and Sat racing this week!! No rainouts, no bugs, high traction, clean cars, and a HUGE track...don't git any better thun' that!!

I would love to bring my xxx-sct out but your flyer doesn't indicate specifics like rules or classes and until I know the details I am not driving a hour and a half to find out. I have wanted to come to mmr for a while and this is why I don't.

Friday Nights

Weekend Races
All of the above classes (and maybe 1/8e?)


If you have a XXX-SCT, you can run any motor/esc combo on Wednesday's and the weekend races.

Best readily available tire for SC would be stock SC10 tires. There are now Schumacher astro specific tires available for the Short Course trucks, but I don't believe anyone has tried them yet. The SC10 tires hook up very well though.
