Boy was it ever dry! At 98 degrees everything is dry!
Got a few runs in, Jeff stoped by and so did Jon. Also met Cain, nice guy we'll have to get him on the traveling crew!
Bill
p.s. I took some new photos of the track. Send me your e-mail adresses and I'l forward them.

class quantity pre enterd so far. These are the numbers that have been placed online.
1/10th Nitro Sedan 5 Racers
1/8th Nitro 1 Racer
1/6th off/on road 5 Racers
1/5th F1's 10 Racers
Nitro sedan seem to be working better with locked fronts(solids) or heavy diffs. ride ht around 5.5 mm's, 1-2 mm less rear droop then normally run on loca tracks. As bite comes up front one-ways may become the fast ticket.
Tire shore in the 40 range seems to be a very good wear / grip combo, 38 rears should also work very well. Large tires seem to be working very well also.
1/8th seem to work well on 35 rear, 37 front combo, tire wear is very good, but will most likly go up with more traction compound down as should grip.
F1's are working best with GRP A rear B Front, in the real heavy heat( 90 plus) B rears are working much better in the rear of the car.
1/6th are still gripping and traction rolling on the old F1 rubber, seems they will run on almost any tire and go until the insert blows out and the tire shreads. If you need tires check with the guys at the track, some have recently cycled F1 rubber and may have some extras that you can have to run with.
Fastest lap on the old layout was Sandy with 16.9 in a F1. Andrew nitro sedan 17.2
Fastets lap on the old track was 13.9 with a 1/8th scale( Have to dig for the name) seth with nitro 14.4
with the new addition we are expecting lap times to go up 3-5 seconds per lap. additional 80 ft of run line, and 3 turns.
Classes will pay winners of main regardless of the quantity of racers, so all posted classes will be run.
