Carl,
I does appear they choose Jan 28th, initially while in discussions with Tamiya ,that date was open ( minus the California date of jan 29 ) that is why we committed to that date for Slowbirds
I have discussed this with some of the Slowbirds steering committee, and since that 28th is a Sat.. and some folks that travel couldn't make that date anyway, we decided to keep the Slowbirds on the Original date we announced a few months ago..
That said, would enjoy having you and the boys come down for some Saturday and Sunday running... The Slowbird event day is the 29th ( sunday )
Saturday the 28th is our normal race day and Slowbird warmup day

I'm here, track is warm. Be careful driving, we will be here all day. Can start whenever or just practice, either is fine. No rush

Slowbirds
The Slowbirds/VTA race sounds like it may just may make me come out of hibernation.

VTA
Casey/all
- Casey, thanks for the words of welcome... it'll be good to see you too.
- The VTA car refresh/rebuild starts now. This will involve a lot of guesswork, since this chassis hasn't even been near carpet.
- Any one have suggestions for approximate gearing/FDR for a Motive 25.5 BL motor on the 180 track?
Thanks,
Rod
