1/10th scale
I seen on 1st page NO 2WD drive classes...I got 4 Racers including me that have 2WD Buggies 1/10th Scale. A few of the neighborhood kid's got 1/10th Scale Buggy's for Good Grades & I was approached by them if they could race at T&L... I told them by the rules 6 car's in that class are needed to RACE & Transponders witch they don't have. But can exceptions be made there Dad's are willing to pay the race day fee's. The kid's would like to experience what Off-Road R/C Racing is all about. I told them they might be able to RACE ON CLUB DAY RACES. Just asking if it could be possible to allow this class to RACE on a Club Day

The track is really huge for 1/10th scale cars. I seen some guys running 1/10th buggies at off race day practice and it looked like they we're really having a hard time. However, I'd be up for running another class if the club ok'd it. It may take a few weeks for me to get my batteries and another transponder but I'd join ya.

LOL But it would be a nice change of pace to get a bunch of 1/10th scale Rig's out on the Track for a race or two to break away from the normal stuff LOL. I think it would be a fun race for a lot of Racers... I know 1/8th scale is HOT right now. But these kids are middle school age & just wanted to experience what r/c off road racing is all about.
I told the 1 kid I'd be willing to let him drive my Truggy on a club race day if he was serious about off road r/c racing. The kid is interested in Truggys so that's a good thing LOL...

The hobby has really taken on an older age group. It would be nice to get some new blood into the hobby. If you see any kids in the hobby now it's mostly because their father's race too. I remember racing my RC10 gold pan on dirt oval at the Red Barn Village in Clark Summit. It was mostly all kids.

Looks like it was a good turnout of drivers. I am planning on attending the end of July Races itching to r/c race. But myself & family are busy attending NASCAR Races with our 35ft 5th wheel RV is taking most of my free time up... Heading to DAYTONA NEXT for the Coke 400 night race over 4th of July weekend....
