Tires for the main were your heat tires for next week and another set of new ones for the main. I ran the same tires for an entire season running nights. It's hard to keep water in the track when the sun wants to take it right back. I'll still try to make as many as I can. Hope to see you all this Friday.
What Tire compound were you running? If you were using super softs for sure they wont last long in hot weather. I plan to have M4 and M3 Blockades and ribs for the season

I expect to be using M3 tires for day racing myself. I guess I'll save those brand new M4s in case there is ever any night racing again. Sadly I couldn't make it last Friday either, was out of town, and probably won't be able to make this Friday night either. But I should be there for the first Saturday race!

M4s are fine to use when the air temps are below 75F. Higher than that you'll want to use M3s. I've used the same set for an entire season before without issues.

How was the 1/10 buggy turnout? More stock or mod? I would like to get ready ahead of time. I prefer stock but I'll get ready for mod if I need to. How was the 8th scale turnout? See everyone tomorrow.

Stock buggy will get a turnout. Last Friday was a light crowd. I doubt I'll be there tomorrow.

Weather kept a lot of people away last week so it's tough to gauge from then. Last year there was more mod buggy than stock. EBuggy turnout was pretty good

Just curious as to when and where the decision will be made about tomorrow night racing. I'll get my stuff ready but I don't want to make the trip for nothing.

Racing is on this Saturday for the Spring Shakedown trophy race.

Remember to bring your own pit table, chairs, pop up canopy, and extension cords.

Parking will be limited behind the pit area so if they are full you can drop your stuff off behind the pits and park in the overflow. The access road must remain open.

We're working on getting a food truck to come out for the event so bring your appetites!

Concerning tomorrow's Shakedown event, we are going to postpone a few hours to allow for the rain to fully stop and get some maintenance in after 2 straight weeks of rain. Sign ups will close at 1:30. We will then have a drivers meeting and start racing at 2. Thanks

I'd like to thank everyone who braved the elements and came out to race this Saturday at the Spring Shakedown. To those who stayed home, you missed out on one hell of a good time! It was nice to see everyone so excited to race and support the track and shop.

Joey and his crew did an amazing job prepping all week and making sure the track was race ready. Also we'd like to give a special thanks to Thomas's dad, Jim D, Adam and Sherri as well as the rest of the crew that helped so much.

Thomas did a great job calling the races, keeping everyone in line, and ran a smooth race program.

Thanks to the event sponsors Race Ready Products, RPM, Team Associated, Reedy, and Boca Bearings for the donations to give out as door prizes. Everyone seemed to like the "pick a duck" door prize game.

Results should be posted soon.
