Default 2016 ROAR Mid Atlantic Off-Road Series

2016 ROAR Region 2 Mid Atlantic Off-Road Series

Dates below, locations to follow.

April 2, 2016 Round 1 RC Pro Racing Gloucester VA

June 4, 2016 Round 2 Tiltyard Dayton VA

July 9, 2016 Round 3 LCRC Oakland Mills PA

August 13, 2016 Round 4 Final's Will's Park Rc LaPlata MD

Rain Date September 10, 2016

We are trying something a little different this year by going to a best 3 of 4 race series.

Classes that are eligible for series and Championship awards are:

1/8 Nitro Buggy
1/8 Nitro Truggy
1/8 Electric Buggy
Young Guns

The following had fairly small turn outs last year. We will run them at the each event if we get 5 or more. We will look at the entries after round 1 to determine if there will be enough for the championship series
1/8 Electric Truggy
1/10 4WD Short Course

Awesome.

Couple questions...
Are we going to be splitting North and South?
Possibly with a "combined" Championship?
Or all together?

Which tracks are selected? I contacted Al but he said he has nothing to do with the series.

Default Roar Series

I would like to throw this out there. Myself and others want to participate in every race of the series. Psycho Nitro Blast has move to Tennessee which it makes it closer for us to make that race. Do you think that you guys can move the 1 race date? I believe if you moved that race date before PsychoNitro Blast. Your turnout would be a great one. Just my 2 cents.

I agree. I want to keep my throw away race in case I break and need to use it. If I go to PNB and miss the first ROAR race and then break in the second ROAR race, there will be no reason to race the 3rd or 4th race. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.

I sure hope Al runs for director again, he's made a huge difference in these two years. Just look at how much better we have things. ;-)

Gentleman......These race dates have been set since the third week of October 2015. I know I'm wasting my skin on my fingers typing this. It is a series race. There is a throw away. The series is for fun and to win plaque's.
Hope to see you gentlemen soon outdoors.

Sarah and I are looking forward to getting up there. If you get the track done early, we will come visit/practice
