hey guys, i plan to start racing at the track soon, is there enough turnout to run 4wd buggy there on the regular? Also what tire and compound are you guys running? thanks for the help look forward to running at the track.

4WD has been running for a couple weeks now. Wednesday night.
I think people are running MC clays. But someone else has to confirm that.

@ tony: come out with you 4wd buggy. the class has been running for a couple of months now and there are atleast 6-10 regulars who own one but its usually 4 -5 drivers who race. The class is picking up and hopefully more drivers will bring out their 4wd buggies.
I use losi bk bar pink rears and red fronts and they work pretty good for me.

Hey guys, I'm going to the ROAR race tomorrow with Durango for 4x4 SCT Mod, and I'm going to borrow a loaner XXX SCT from Bill for 2wd mod SCT to run that class also. Problem is I forgot to bring an extra transponder for the
2nd class, and I won't be back to the house before the race
If anyone going to the race has an extra that I can borrow to use in my borrowed truck to race in a 'borrowed class' will you bring it, and may I borrow it?
Oh, Ron, Bill, whoever; I won't be there until right around 9:00 - please save me some room near you guys. Thanks!
Bill, don't forget your off-road tweak station - PUT IT IN YOUR BAG NOW PLEASE!!! I did a lot of changes on the truck (longer front shocks, etc.) and I'm sure it's way out of whack now.

Almost have all the bugs worked out with the Slash 4x4, but one question..
What is a good camber setting ? I am running -1.5 front and rear. This is the same as I ran in Frederick.
I plan on trying some different changes this Tuesday after work.

Some racers run up to 3 deg. on the rear, it depends on your camber gain and tire wear.

My losi SCTE's ball joints are so bad I think I'm running between -3 & +3 on camber ;-). Works fine!!
