Man the new layout looks sweet. Neil and I will have to see if we can make wenesday for 2wd sc. Painted up some new hummer bodies and judging from the hits on the AE stocker, I'll have to do the same soon.

On a side note, anyone else play with 1/8 nitro? I still have my rc8 from a few years back. 1 gallon b7 pro in there tuned up and ready to rip but havn't really found a place to run it out

Given the classes are open, what turn motors are people running in 2wd buggy and 2wd SCT? I saw some very powerful cars that were literally flying off the track yesterday. The most skilled drivers kept their mod cars pointed in the right direction but others struggled to hold a tight and consistent line with all that power.

A boosted 17.5 can be a quick so does the triple jump motivate a low turn motor? At least for 2wd SCT I had to slow down to make a nice landing on the double or cross over jump so it was more of an exercise in restraint.

Thanks to the track crew, the new layout was a blast to drive. I have to admit I don't like the weird jump at the bottom of the wood banked turn, it kills momentum and seems to launch cars randomly. Any chance that will be revised out at some point?

as far as revised...not to sure...but I can tell you if you hold a straight line on the exit of the turn and let the car/truck start down the hill, then give it a bump in throttle...you will have no problem landing on the down side of the lander. Hope this helps.

Default Mr. Bill got stung

I guess you have to show up and race to win or lose. Dave ran a good race. When will "Local Racer" show up to win or lose?
