I have a 2 1/2 car garage, which is pretty spacious for the SF bay area (where I live).
I put down some Home Depot industrial carpet which works great and provides good grip, I think I spent about $35 for the carpet. I put 3/4" masking tape down to mark off the course, ..I have a bunch of designs printed out that work well for this space. I switch up the track about 2x a month or so. I try to keep lanes at about 28" minimum width, this works pretty well and is a sufficient width to get some nice speed and test my skills on a confined track.
I would go full garage space w/ this carpet and have a really nice indoor track, yet I have a classic car parked inside at all times in the other spot. Moving that car outside is not an option.
I do love this carpet though, I am thinking of getting a really large 40' long by 20' wide piece to roll out when I want to drive in the backyard w/ a lot more space. It only takes me 3 minutes to roll the carpet out and another 3 to put it away, so it would work well over our back patio (which is paver stone material).

oh, I also have a few sizes of jumps I can use. Some tracks use all 3 jumps, however the course shown uses one smaller jump. This track actually has 3 courses, you can do an oval, or go forward on one of the tracks or double back after the jump and do the course the opposite direction to make a 3rd course. Most of the tracks I've designed for this indoor space are actually 2 or even 3 courses ...you can take the course several different ways.

That app looks great, -thanks for the video.
Unfortunately I am an Android user ...this isn't available on Android.
I have an old iPhone but its an iphone 4, so probably not going to work.
heck, not even sure if my iPhone 4 works!

and installed!
I never used the rally tires, they are super nice on carpet, grip is 100% perfect!!! I think the standard buggy tires become slicks quite quickly and work great for asphalt, but these rally tires are perfect for carpet and imagine work great on dirt too.

I was over a year on the rally tires with little signs of wear before I switched to the foams. Buggy tires turned to slick quick. Still worked. I’ve remembered right I did more then 70 1s and 2s runs on the original set on first buggy.

Hey Billy,
on those rally tires (I think they're called "Meenies"), -did you run them on asphalt and they still lasted a long time?
yes, agree the buggy tires are nice, but do turn to slicks quickly. They work fine on asphalt and still give good grip on asphalt ..and they are super cheap.
but the Meenies seem to be the way to go-
i'll have to try some foams!

The foams are almost impossible to find. I’ve been contacted by the guy who makes them. He was going to look into making few more sets. He no longer runs small scale. So doesn’t keep the stuff around much. I’ve offered to buy multiple sets if it help. Been about a month or so since I’ve heard from him.

Hey guys. I'm the one that makes the foams. I'm just getting back into my micros, and will be making some tires very soon. Been busy flying drones, but our friends/family club has decided that they want to run the micros on the RCP track again this fall/winter, so I have ordered some supplies. Some stuff has already arrived, and a few things are on the slow boat from China so no telling when they will actually reach my doorstep. I'll be sure to post an update here once I am set up to to start cutting.
