Plans are starting to come together for next season. Looks like we will be having the 1st Annual Mini Nationals at Thumb RC in Gagetown, MI. The tentative dates right now are May 8th and 9th. Open practice on the 8th with racing on the 9th.

1/14 - 1/16 Scale Stock
1/14 - 1/16 Scale Mod
1/18 Scale Mod
Open Mini
Novice

Support Classes (medals):
1/10 2WD Short Course
1/10 2WD Stadium Truck
1/10 2WD Buggy
1/10 4WD Buggy

I just received word today that Caster Racing will be providing 5 lucky drivers with a free 1/16 S16B rental car for the mini national. Sign up details will be available soon. You will only have to pay the class fee and transponder rental if you need one. The car is free to drive.

The good news is that standard block pin tires work great at Thumb RC. I would think some Losi Mini 8 / LC Racing treads would sell pretty good.

Sounds good vines. Most of my local guys won't pre-enter online. I figure I have at least 50 entries locally.

Since this is a national championship event, I have changed the Novice class to a "Youth" class instead. Ages 15 and younger.
