Decided to paint up the body I purchased quit awhile ago...

Looks good! Are you going to run it off road? If so you might want to reinforce the front lip. It tends to take the most abuse and will crack pretty fast. I've never put the rear spoiler on my bodies. I'm curious to hear from you about how it holds up.

Nice looking rig! Your total amount invested in that heavily upgraded vehicle is still probably less than getting a stock X-Maxx or 8s Kraton. Probably the 6s Kraton as well.

And I'm not even done yet, I still need the EAC Engineering steering plate and Team Associated universals(that is going to be a big pill to swallow as I need 4 sets at $29.99 each plus the 2 sets of crush tubes to do both of my LC Racing vehicles).

What are the Team Associated Universals about?
I bought one of the EAC Engineering steering plates with the bearings pressed in and it's hard to tell how much it helps. I drove it yesterday and noticed that the inside tire doesn't flop around when turning like it used to do so it does have some impact.

Indoor carpet....

I'll run Enneti nitro foam tires, 26mm front and 30mm rear.

Hauls the mail for sure.

Hi there, it's been a while...
had finally a couple of weeks time for some serious bashing, maybe it's just a coincidence,
but I'm kinda past two dozen 2S&3S battery packs and I didn't break any bearing since I'm using the crush tube solution.

Still, no Pics & Links so...

Has anyone tried to adapt the motor mount from the Wltoys 104001?

The Team Associated universal driveshafts don't bend just by looking at them like the Lc cvds do.

Those are on my list too, but since I know of their existence, it looks like my original LC ones are not willing to give up so easily...

I tried to do my own version of steering plates with the pressed bearings by drilling the draglink.
with it, the front wheel doesn't behave like they have different brains anymore.
more as an improvement I would say you make the EMB more squirrely than ever.
The downside is it is not really suited for bashing, at least not with the original draglink, since it lasted just a few battery packs.

I also forgot to mention that it started its life as a brushed Tacon Valor Mt. I could have bought the EMB-1 for less than I have in it.

Where did you get those red things on the shock mounts?

They are some simple M3 Aluminum spacers I found on offer for 1€ on Aliexpress or eBay, I can't remember.

Yeah, that's the long way around.
