It may I know it fits the mini 8ight T. So I don't see why it won't fit the buggy

The mini 8ight is a 185mm wheelbase and the M8DB and M8T are 225mm wheelbase.
In my experience going to hardened steel spur and pinon gears eliminates most of the issues with the gears.
