Default any ideas? Need Help with RC18 Diffs/shims

How many shims am i supposed to put in the rear diff? im asking because i already have 4 of them in there and it is still slipping real bad. any ideas? any suggestions is good help for me.

4 seems like alot of shims - make sure you're putting the shims on the side that tightens the gear mesh, or adding more will only make it worse. Once the gears become rounded off, it's better to replace them or they're likely to slip even after you get them shimmed correctly

Shimming only reduces lateral play for gear engagement. The reason for shimming is when you suffer from skipping or crackling noises (diff gears jumping) You should be replacing the gears when you shim as well. AE diffs and parts are cheap. If your diff is slipping you may not have the tension set correctly or another diff issue.
