Just seen this on Facebook. It looks like it's gonna be a fun little truck. Hopefully they offer it in BnD so I can pair it with my DX3S.

Haven't seen it posted yet.

Also, 27 MHz and Brushed!!!!

May as well get a Micro SCT/Rally brushless and toss the tires and body from this on there.

Yeah I just saw that, but I would be buying it for my 4 year old son as a basher.

He has the Micro Desert Truck right now so I am slowly getting him in to it and teaching him how to drive.

His Birthday is next week on the 7th and I was gonna get him this:

But when I saw the truggy I knew he would love it. I think I will stick with the truck anyway. I have an extra Mini 8ight I will give him once I put it back together so he can bash.

Seriously. I would have hoped they would see that no one wants AM anymore.

You also would have hoped when they were making the longer chassis*, that they would have</span>
1. FIXED THE STEERING GEOMETRY! Its one of the reasons that these vehicles lack any steering (even with knuckle mod that can make it easier for the dogbone to pop), and have that weird angle for the front tie-rods. The geometry also makes it harder to create universals for this. Thats why you haven't seen any on the market.
2. Make a chassis with front kickup!

However! I wonder If I can jury rig that wing to fit on the Mini-Z buggy..

*THIS IS WRONG. CHASSIS SAME LENGTH

Well if you can wait a few weeks there will be that truggy body, but you will have to

**buy the longer chassis to use it and since the truggy is using AM electronics, its top plate will need to be modified to fit the 2.4 version.**

Edit: WRONG! Chassis same length. It just doesnt have the side tabs for the bumpers so can fit narrow truck body. So if you wanted to use with stock chassis, just cut off tabs.

I was informed by Gary K that the chassis is the same length. It just doesn't have the side pegs.

So is it the same chassis as the rally and sct? Would be nice to build one from scratch and use the sct/rally CF chassis on it as well as going straight 2.4/brushless.

I'm not sure if the Exotek CF chassis kit will work with this yet, the Truggy has a new chassis part number. The alloy parts from the rally and SCT should work as they all look to be the same part numbers between vehicles.

This is from Gary (from losi) on the microtforum

2) The chassis is the same length as the SCT and the Rally

3) AM/Brushed was chosen for pricing reasons. However, for those who want to go Brushless/DSM the conversions for the Rally/SCT will bolt right in.

Richard Trujillo is our guest on our R/Cast podcast this week and we discuss the Micro Truggy. Once it's live I'll post a link here for you guys to check out.
With that being said I still see the chassis from exotek working. the only difference from pics i can see is there are no side guard mounts. the exotek chassis doesn't have them either. I am sure it will work just fine.

So basically the truggy body, kingpin tires and the wing will make my brushless sct a truggy? Also are the tires out yet? I'd like some now for my sct now.

Does anyone know where to find stock parts? Amain carries just basic stuff. Sad day today for my sons sct. Testing out the 2s lipo and we went to far down the street and lost the signal. Our street is usually dead but out of all days a car full of ladies car pooling ran over the little guy. Thought for sure it was money gone. The only damage was the front two tires are bent and will not rotate and the front tower and mout are gone. Hobby shop carries tires and body but not the other parts. Black star carries alum but not to fawn of the colors. Might go with blue but prefer to keep it all stock. Any help?
