Default What wire go's were? + & -

I Just got my 2nd RC18MT off ebay and i went to test drive it and its way faster in reverse. It has a team orion baja motor in it. Its soldered strait to the stock ESC. The wires are in the wright order on the ESC. So the only thing i can think of is the wires on the motor are on backwards.
i was looking at a different motor and it looks like this one is wired way wrong. can u tell witch wire go's were?

Also got hot VERY FAST. Like 2 minutes into the test run it was hot enough to pull your finger away from it fast.

Your image doesn't work.

Something seems to be wired incorrectly. I don't have an RC18MT, but I don't think it should get that hot that fast.

there should be 3 resistors. 1 between + and the can, 1 between - and the can, and the 3rd should bridge + and -.

on every single motor like this I have its the same setup, looking directly at the endbell, the resistor between + and - passes OVER the motor shaft, and + terminal is on the RIGHT side.

as for getting hot. what gearing is on the truck? the MTs would need slightly smaller pinion due to bigger tires (if they're stock tires) Is there anything binding in the drivetrain? could just be a bad motor...
