Sorry to dig up a couple weeks old thread but if you havnt had your question answered yet I would go with a Team Scream 6 cell pack.
If you decide to upgrade your electroics
ESC
Servo..
Then I would go with a 2 cell lipo. The run times are noticably longer, and so is the power.

No need to upgrade esc and servo for lipo. Stock is meant to take it though it still wouldn't be bad to upgrade. You might want ball bearings and tie rods sets as well.
Tie rods will be the fastest breaking item on your r/c and ball bearings make a world of difference in speed. Some seen 5 mph faster with the BB II motor on the stock battery with just ball bearings + motor as the upgrades.
