2) Umm, so you DO know that belts are not just for onroad as you had previously stated.
3) Yeah, I do care what my rides look like, but an ugly stock body has never kept me from buying a good handling vehicle.
4) I guess every stock slash and 18t out there has junk shocks, eh? It's my opinion that these shocks are great in both appearence and function.
5) Speaking from personal experience and the fact that the VXLs do not fit into any other class regulations.

The RC18T is going to be 5 years old so the new SC18 has been overdue...
Its new its definitely different and we need some change. Lets get em, bash em, race em then trash talk em....

It's def nice to see a completely new platform and design in the 1/18th off road realm instead of all the new bodied versions of the same old thing. 
I think this rig will spark a whole new craze for the 18th scene.

I called Team associated today and I ask them for the price range and they told me they don't have it in the system yet not till they have the release date. I race onroad I would like to get one of this and convert it to 18R I wonder if I can.

You know, I didnt see a mention of a slipper. And it comes with gear diffs. I can see the belt taken up some of the drivetrain shock, but there is nothing in it as it stands to allow traction control other than the esc settings, which cant accomodate the varying surface of a track.. More than anything, I'm worried about someone doing a 3 cell with a 380+ size motor and instantly breaking the belts or stripping the teeth on them. Or coming off a jump wrong (power on) and doing the same thing.
From the few pictures from that scan, it looks like there possible could be room for one on the spur. Maybe it will be an upgrade? Speaking of upgrades, will we see a Team Kit (plz! plz!)? This time with universal joints and if there is a optional slipper, included.
We have people from Team AE on this forum. Any of them interested in given us a laydown? Rick H.?

Have you ever seen an 8th scale onroad with 4+hp of .21 power? I can assure you, they are not driven by shaft drive.

8th scale runs a spool in the rear and a 1 way in the front. 10th scale on the other hand can run 2 fluid filled diffs, ball diffs, 1 ways, or spools.
This car is supposedd to have sealed belts like the xxx4 though. I am sure it is not as durable as shaft, but there are plenty of other benefits that outweigh the durability standpoint.
