Check out the title of the video...it includes the phrase "micro SC18's". I wonder if this club got the chance to "preview" the SC18s prior to their official release, or if they are just stadium trucks with SC bodies. They seem to zip around surprisingly well (modded with brushless?), and whatever tires they have (foams or stock?), they appear to hook up very well:

Ran across this on rc10.com:

I guess this means that the SC18 is basically only as wide as a RC18R since these will fit both vehicles.

I don't think they've even been shipped to distributors yet. Not for another couple of months.

I have been emailing with AE (I have a SC18 on backorder with Tower) the reply was that the SC18 battery tray would have "similiar" dimensions as the RC18 series. Also..the stock RTR ESC will not have a a LiPo cutoff. i already got my Novak 13.5/6000KV Mongoose burshless setup so i'm covered there.

As to the size...It should be about half the 55-60% the size of the RC10...but it all depends on the dimension that is being scaled.

I'm new to this forum..this seems to be the place prople are talking SC18 language. I've been driving AE products since gold aluminum chassis were cool...and i man enough to admit that once I dyed my RC12L nylon parts purple ..hey things were different back then....

Looks like Tower's website was in agreement with AE's scheduled release date of 3/10/2010, at least for a while.

Mine has a tracking number so I guess I got one before they sold out. I'm sure they have a ton more coming.
