I took it easy tonight and didn't drive too hard. I had a good time as usual. It was a bit disappointing when my buddy TWEB managed to smoke yet another brushless motor... That is two in two weeks, lol.

Video will be up later today.

Man here at work the video ran smooth. Yes the video came out pretty good but it was the racers who made it happened.

Great night hope all of those lurking on this thread you come out and have some hump week fun at Beltran. Don't be shy just get on out and bring what you have.

Seriously, that is what is so annoying about this hobby in general is that people don't want to race unless they feel that they are up to speed. That is like being overweight and expecting to lose weight without going to the gym. If you guys want to have a place to race your cars, come on out.

Use it or lose it!

use it or lose it is right

for me, a car setup good for the track means I can't use it anywhere but the track so that's kind of a deal breaker

I thought I'd get more into it and maybe pick up a dedicated onroad car, but I realized that I've got way too much stuff going on already

That is kind of what happens when you run an off-road car on an onroad track, you need to make changes.

It would be ok to run there as you will see in the video there is an offroad 1/18 I think it is an rc18 or some sort, not sure though. But if you want to run onroad I would pick up an on road vehicle. I to will be picking up a 1/16 e-revo sometime in the summer but it is just going to be a basher when I am not at the track running on road. I'm not far from you in near the S. Pasadean/Alhambra area. Why don't you come by the track tonight (Wednesday) and check it out and see if still want to get an erevo for onroad. pm if you do and I'll intruduce myself.
