Default 1/10 scale motor mount for RC18

Does anybody make a 1/10 scale motor mount for RC18?
Where can they be bought?

If not, would you be interested to buy one?

If you converted the RC18T to rear wheel drive, made a driveline direct to shaft type system, mounted the motor in the middle, and made saddle packs, you could be in for a big buck conversion.

There isn't such a thing, nobody makes one anyway, as putting that large a motor with that much torque would be kinda like putting a Semi-Truck engine in a Honda. No I wouldn't be interested, and I don't think you'll get much in the way of interest from others.

It is a bad idea just for weight distribution. I would rather get an exotek chassis and call it a day.

I got the concept from here: http://www.danmarx.org/rc18t/

The Novak XBR brushless system for 1/10 scale cars is only about $15 more than the Novak Mongoose brushless system....and then when I get my B44, then I can just use that motor system.

quoting from the project site : "It is outright unbelievably fast. I can't keep on the throttle for more than 1 second before it's all the way down the street. It literally spins out at will and so far there is no end to how much power there is"

Seems kinda dumb and over the top, but to each his own

Good point. I guess I'd just dial the throttle down on the controller...then when I get my B44, I won't have to buy another brushless system.

keep in mind too, dialing it down or not, that it'll kill your runtime too
