How durable is the MXT chassis. I jump around 5-12 feet with my Mini-T.

Mike is there any spy shots of that 18r body? :sneaky: And what size are the setup boards going to be?

Thomas P 07-02-2008 09:43 PM

Mike, is there any plans for a Buggy body ? or does the stock RC18b fit, if i trim it less ?. Must say, real good service!! :sneaky:

Hi All,

Frozen- The nylon MXT chassis is pretty flexible so can handle most minor jumps assuming the landings aren't harsh. I'm actually working on a full blown carbon Mini-T chassis that will be more stout than the typical nylon type for later this year. Just will be very pricey.

Rob- why?

MP- No spy shots sorry but when my race buddy saw the mold he squelched like a school girl :rolleyes: haha. Unfortunately my vacuum form guy just went on vacation so it's delayed the 'spy shot' until 2 weeks.
I have some set up boards in stock but just haven't had the time to get them on-line. Sizes will be;
9.25"x13 $15aprx
13"x18.5 $22aprx
15.5"x26 $29aprx

All white with black trim and made from all premium materials. No cheap chip board like the other brands!

Thomas- Thanks sir! Any way I do have a model of a buggy body built up but waiting to see how the sales of the 18R and truck body does before going further with it. For a stock 18B body you would trim the nose section less but trim the front bottom skirt more for better servo saver clearance.

sounds GREAT Mike. what is the body shaped after?

Hey, Mike,

I'm glad you're looking into some RC18 bodies. That's a market that hasn't been tapped, yet! Really looking forward to the 'Z!'

oXYnary 07-03-2008 02:42 PM

Setup boards! Yeaaa! I hate having to use the uneven surface of the LHS pit tables. Do they have the toe in degrees listed on them?

The buggy body for the Tex18X, that could fit a M18T Pro as well, so additional market. :cool:
