It will not handle the Cobalt. Do yourself a favor and get either a mamba25 or quark33 pro car and run a brushless setup. I had a trinity cobalt 14t with a GTX with 2cell lipo and my run time sucked. Switched to brushless and its like night and day.

Default suspension

Hey guys what do you recomend to make this car handle like a sedan? I have a brushless system and run it on smooth asphalt. It is fast but handles really squirely and twitchy almost like it is too high. I don't see a lot of öptions out there as far as hop ups. thanks

You can put o-rings inside the shock shaft to lower the shocks, this helps alot.

Will Team Associated make an 18r Factory Team? Soon?

If or when they do, I think I am going to get one.

Default Tires

Anyone know if Pro-Line or anyone else has plans to produce 18R tires... Was thinking about getting some of the RoadRage tires for the 18T but the profile seems to be a lil too tall... Any custom set-ups anyones willing to share??..

Ready for release shortly (just in time for Christmas) will be AE's newest foray into the 1:18th scale market --- the RC18R (for RACE/RALLY!!) .

This product will be based off the already popular RC18T and include:

• Shorter a-arms, dogbones and camber/steering links
• AE AT Treaded Tires
• White narrow spoked racing wheels
• Choice of either Mitsubishi Lancer, Citroen Xsara or AE Kamino bodies in their own realistic race/rally liveries!
• Available in RTR form with standard hi-quality AE RTR electronics!

More awesome bodies will be available in the near future!!!!!

For more information visit Team Associated's site RC10.com or CompetitionX (both available shortly!)

Default Replacement servo

What is the best servo for these cars? We have the box stock class... but for my mod.. I want the best available servo.. I cant stand how the center changes...

I have 3 cars now and plans for a 4th. 2 stock and 2 mod.

Danny...

Had fun last weekend.. The rain was the best part... lol. I am looking into making the set up wheels today. I might have them for next week.

I will try and make them like the hudy and also look at the toe in gauge too.

My middle child has a softball tourney again this weekend.. but I am going to try and get out tomorrow i think for some practice..

I got 4 more packs from CBP.com on the way. My mod is going to be lipo 2 cell 1250mh. Getting from atomicmods today. - what do you think about a mod rally class instead of buggy? I know Cristian is going rally.. I might do the same for now. so i can keep the wheels protected..

Laterz.

Sean,

The car you got from me has the hitec HS65 which is a very good servo for the 18R. (much better than stock) I havent tried the digital ones, but I'm sure they are good too.
The car also has the DP drag link which helps the steering slop.

But Ive found that its going to have slop anyway, and on our large track its not much of a factor.

Keep in mind, your two stock cars have to use the stock servo for our stock class.

Can't wait to see the axle disks to adjust camper and tow.

I put the MIP CVDs in for the R but used the buggy axles so that I could run the Mini T rear foam tires and wheels. Works great!

Also talked to RPM about arms and towers for the R but they aren't planning on making anything for it at this time. BRP doesn't have anything in the works for tires either so that you can use the stock axles.
