Considering a Micro-Baja
Does anybody have any thoughts to help me decide b/w Mini-T and Mini Baja. Better than a Mini-T? About the same w/ a different body? How upgradeable are they? Good / Bad?

It uses the same parts and upgrades as the mimi-t but comes with a better motor and electronics, shocks and bearings. It also comes with a 7.2 battery and charger. Well worth the upgrade.

My wife got me one for Groundhog day. It was a total surprise, and I haven't quit fiddling with it yet. Just right for the basement! Now I need some street / mixed use tires and a spare battery pack.
Got some questions, though:
What batteries? Stock, Lipo, other?
Any recommendations for general bashing tires [some asphalt, some dirt]
What about the Losi peak charger that plugs into the wall? Is it better than the one that's included, and can I just leave a pack on it at all times?
Stock charger: are the recommended times of 5-6 hours for charging strict? I want to know if it will fry something if I leave it charging for more/less time.
Any other suggestions for my new coolest toy ever?

Mini-Baja
I just ordered a mini baja..after long research.
It is much better than a stock mini-T IEil shocks, bearings, motor, FM synthesized receiver etc...
I picked up a $20.00 peak charger at LHS...it will charge in just under an hour and according to LHS guy it isnt strong enough to hurt the battery.
I am going to run my stock for awhile as it has the mian hopups everyone gets for the mini-T.
It is 2WD and I know the 18t is 4WD but I still think this is cooler.
A lot of buggies ar 2WD and one thing I would like to ask is: Where does the Mini-Baja fit in? Is it 2wd buggy or 2WD truck? I know a lot of races are 4WD but they can't all be.
Thanks.

spybeach, congrats on the new purchase!
mechanically, the mini baja is just like the xxx-t and i think the biggest difference is ride height. the buggies seem to be much lower even in 2wd format. i have noticed that it is easier to get a traction rollover w/ my mini-baja than with the xxx-t, but that may be due to the narrower front tires and higher body. Not sure.
