My friend has one. Its nice that it uses the diffs off of the Mini Inferno because he blew his out. It also has a 2 speed options, etc. Most of the suspension is exchangleable with the Mini Inferno too. Yeah, if your on a budget, its a really good car.

I have this buggy. my comment... power to weight ration not good enough. the buggy is heavy. It should have a bigger engine. My Xray NT18t has higher power to weigth ratio than this NB16/Vulcan and it's faster. Quality of the materials used in the basic kit were not good. The only consolation, all the front and rear suspension parts including the wing of the mini-Inferno will fit in this buggy. The shift point of the 2 speed transmission is not adjustable.

the 2 speed is adjustable, there is a notch on the large gear housing, hold that and and roll the car forward or back, and you will see the set-screw...

Rc Mart has them for a reasonable price and they also carry an upgraded motor for them for more power, also just wondering are there acme buggies the same as the IRC Vulcan ? and are the parts interchangeable. Just I am looking a getting one (a Vulcan ) and wanted to know if the parts are interchangeable for hop ups etc.

Don't forget, if you buy an NB16 you have no support, you may pay a bit mroe for the Vulcan, but at least you will have a company to go back to if there is a problem

I bought my NB16 in HK last December for equivalent of US $140 with servos but no receiver. RC-mushroom.com is retailing it for US$163. RCmart.com, US$199 with servo no receiver. Watchout for RCmart's shipping cost. You may end up paying as if you are buying the car in the US. Also, another problem is, returning it back if there is a problem w/ the buggy.
