Looks like the track shipped today, so hopefully I'll be sharing some times for May albeit not competitive times. There's not a lot of space here so I will have to set up/tear down the track between runs.

What do others with limited space who are unable to keep the track up do between sessions?

Sounds like a great plan. Welcome. There is a Facebook group too where more discussion happens.

While catching up on the thread I noticed it die down in the past few months but with times still being posted I was afraid the conversation had moved over to Facebook. I don't have a Facebook account.

Keep it that way and just post here. When Zuckerbook takes a tumble, the forum will still be here.

I take mine down almost every day. I just keep it in as big of pieces as I possible. Fast and easy to take it apart and put it back together (I leave the side rails on).

Be sure to vacuum your track and clean it. It take a few months of driving on it and cleaning it for the traction to get good.

Sounds simple enough. Thanks!

Man this is going to be a BIG CHALLENGE for me! Counter clockwise ALWAYS kills my times. I'm usually a few seconds slower going "backwards"!
It was a Crazy Month for me, and while I drove A LOT of laps, easily 10 hours overall, I was trying for clean laps more than the fastest. My fastest lap was 5 seconds flat, but I tend to push to hard when timing so most laps weren't timed.
I was able to use a small tripod to hold my phone to put it on a good angle for the camera to catch each lap using Laptrax on a Galaxy S9, and it caught every lap with the stock white Jomurema body. I am going to try the tripod with an Ipad mini as I like the LapTracker app's displays better than Laptrax on Andriod.
I'm still having a BLAST with this challenging track and scale of car! Hopefully the local HobbyTown will hold a race on their large track, as I think it would be awesome to open the throttle up!!!
Take Care and Drive Hard!!!
Drew

I got a bit of time today to set the track up and take a few runs. Boy there's some repetition and practice that's needed but I had a blast. Y'all sure do make it look easy.

I assumed the track this month is the smooth side? Neither the April or May track post mentions which side but I was too excited to ask and wait.

Glad you are having fun! Keep practicing!

Yes, smooth side every month. Doubt we’ll go back to rough side, but adequate advance notice will be provided if we do.

Does anyone know of any mini-z tracks in the Salt lake Utah area? Id like to see what my 1/64 scale mini-z-esque car can do on an rcp track.

There are some Mini-Z enthusiasts there they have the bigger RCP track. Not sure about the Mini-96. You might have better luck posting in the Kyosho Mini-Z Series thread which probably has a wider following.
