This is my first run with my ProStock with a 12C body, and it was pretty good. I have been running and tweaking in my new MRX ME, but just felt like driving my ProStock this morning. I've hit a 3.315 fast lap with my MRX ME, so the ProStock time was pretty close, but where I can run 3.4xx laps pretty easy with my MRX ME 3.5xx's is where the prostock is running.
I'm thinking a 4:20.xxx is going to be a GREAT CLEAN run for this layout, BUT i doubt it will be me to hit it!:pWith all the new fast guys and the Old Dogs getting time to run, I think we will have some close driving this month!!! Track got faster and faster! Discs had to be dialed in to avoid traction rolling but with the PN tires it stayed aggressive. Got this car running again and it was fast! Just a bit easier to drive than my Evo I had been running in Pro Stock. Date- 1-20-25 Location- Omaha, NE Race Time- 4:26.349 or 266.349 Fastest Lap- 3.291 Chassis- MR03 (MR04 Front end with Kyosho 0.5 knuckles) Body- 911 GT3 Wheelbase- 90MM Tires- Front PN KSK 40 0 offset Rear Marka V1R10 0 offset Motor- Stock white cap Batteries- Gens Ace Front Springs- Orange T-Plate- PN Carbon #5 Motor Mount- RM Dampener (If applicable)- Oil Shock Dampener Fluid (If applicable)- 100 Gearing- 7T Notes - This one was a handful to get a clean run. Tried some 0 offset Reflex wheels up front with discs and got way more responsive steering with only the occasional roll on an over correction. Just had to stay off of the apexes because bouncing off one would send me nose first into the wall on the other side of the track. New resin balls in the lower arms seemed to make turning smoother. Even though I tried the MR-04 MM mount on this MR-03, it was still quicker with the MR-03 MM mount. I did change the t-plate and went back to stock front springs to try to reduce the rear hopping and lifting the inside rear and found the PN KS Medium fronts were better than the KSK 40s I'd been running. This was the most consistent Box Stock run I had at 95.66%, so there is room for improvement. I just wasted too much time running other cars that have been sitting on the shelf and trying to get the MR-04 working, but failed.
