Been super busy between moving my parents and remodeling our house, but I squeaked mine in! GREAT to see some new faces!!! I forgot to take a current pic of my 911, but the only thing different is I removed the top shock. I also haven't gotten by Hobby Town to get a transponder for my MX5/Narrow new chassis build so I took it off my 911 chassis, so it was a pain to remember what set of laps went with which class running the 3 with the same tanspo. #! I'm getting one this week. Also I waited over a month for a pair of Rocket brushless motors I ordered off Amazon, but they got lost somewhere, so I ordered a couple PN B-less motors from Kenon and they'll be here by thursday. When they arrive my BoxStock will be my only brushed motor. FOR ME and my limited experience, I can run faster and smoother with Brushless compared to brushed. When I switch from brushed to brushless on the MX5 hopefully it will smooth out and be more like my 911 as it's almost perfect!

We had a new entrant, welcome Raleigh, who ran 5 classes off the bat and the second newest entrant, HeyDay ran all 7 classes and the informal MX-5 class too! He also had progressively faster times in the faster classes, with the Open classes being the exception (sometimes slower is faster). BoxxerBoyDrew had four 3rd place finishes and is getting quicker by the month. We had some very close races in the MX-5 class and Porsche Cup with just 2 and 3 seconds separating 1st and 2nd. I've been playing with wheels and with some -1mm N DXR MP1 wheels I was able to go to the wide frontend on my 911 Gt3 RSR, and it made a great car even better! Also got some -1 W DXR MP1 wheels and they fit great under my MX-5 with some Low Height PN KSM soft slicks, and they rip too! I've been driving everyday I'm home from packing up the farm trying to get more consistent CCW , but my mind just likes turning right. LOL I also received the PN 3500k BL motors, so now my Narrow and Stock Chassis are brushless! So far my laps are a bit slower but overall times are better, but hopefully by the end of the month my lap times will be better! Either way I like the consistent feel of the BL motors, their quiet, and you can adjust them with the ICS to your liking! Looking forward to see everyone's times at the end of the month.

Stock chassis w/PN 3500kv, and i switched from 787 to 12C to get better through the corners going CCW. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...fe57625f89.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...019f2a44aa.jpg DXR -1mm W Rear wheels w/PN KS-M Soft Low height and PN 3500kv. Excuse the marker on one side of the body, as I'm planning paint schemes. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...6d987e40a0.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...a47f1b39a1.jpg 911 GT3 RSR w/ Wide front end and -1mm N DXR wheels. In the pics it looks as the front wheel nuts stick out beyond the body, but using a ruler they go through the full range of motion without any contact. Weird pic effect. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...96fa8f3c15.jpg Drive Fast and Stay Safe! Drew |

I use the factory settings except I turned the reverse delay to lowest and the drag break up 1 level.

No problem! Sorry to hear about your troubles with ur esc, electronic troubles are so frustrating! Good Luck and keep us updated on the esc. I've been looking at that esc for a future build.

Well Guys I WAY over did it helping pack up and move my parents the last few weeks, and now the nerves in my right arm are acting up pretty bad. My fingers go numb after 20 or so laps and causes me to crash constantly! I already have enough trouble going CCW and this doesn't help! So I'm going to do my best to get a full set of laps, but I'm not optimistic!
I did finally receive the airbrush strainers I ordered, so I should be able to lay some paint even with numb fingers! Take Care and Drive Fast! Drew |
