Default New Version of 1/24th scale Carisma buggy coming.

New version of Gt24 buggy. Said to have 90 percent same parts as the original. I think its getting shocks hoping for a Transponder port as well.

I’m interested. Haven’t seen anything about it though. What Carisma does needed to do is get the vehicles they have been promising released. Just found out that the Hyundai Rally body version of the GT24 has still not be made available.

Ah, been wondering. Been holding a spot for the Hyundai body.

Only new things I’ve been seeing from Carisma on Facebook have been kit versions of their touring cars, the Coyote trail truck. Then yesterday the 1/10 Lotus.
And an announcement about them not attending the toy fair in Germany

I am loving my 24GTb -I've had it for about 2-3 weeks and absolutely love it. Can't wait to see what the next version looks like!

The Carisma is the only 1/24 i haven't experimented with. I'd like to try one. I'd like a Rally Car or a SCT version.

I'm totally bummed that the MAJOR players, HPI, LOSI, AE, etc. have abandoned &/or don't produce the 1/24 cars anymore. They are a blast, and fun to run indoors with plenty of speed.

According to aMain hobbies, the gt24b line has been discontinued. ....do I wait for the next version or pick up another of the current buggies while still available at some online shops?

Only the Rally is in stock direct from Carisma. Maybe the new version is coming soon. I’d still like to see more, or anything driven directly from Carisma about it. No mention on their Facebook

That's kind of annoying. I finally bought two of them in December. Hopefully the parts support lasts.

I would wait if I were in your position.

I would be annoyed if I spent like $300 or more and it was something I was racing. -Actually that has happened to me and it sucks big time.

The 24GTb is just for indoor carpet track fun on my own garage track. I have 2 of the Team Associated SC28's and 1 GT24b. The SC28's although fun are not even in the same class. I race w/ my sons and they bring their friends over and race too. So I was looking to get another car or two so everyone can race and for more variety. (I love that my kids and their friends think its cool to hang at my house). I have some spares for the GT24b already hence my allegiance to getting another. I am in no rush though ..so may wait and just see like you said. -unless you want to sell one of your GT's?

Yeah, fortunately they are not too expensive so its not a big deal. If you already have one, then I would say its a tougher decision to wait for the new one.

Had I known the new one was coming out, I could have and would have waited. Now that its too late, I don't really care. I'll just keep them
