Conversation Between wantboost and tak4

Hey Wantboost, just to help you out a bit. This is video action from my local track last week. At the 6.34 mark a 4-year-old Kyosho 777 (Yellow car) is being hunted down by the 2010 mp9 and brand new TeamC (Annsman) T8r <--- consider this buggy as well if you can find it near where you are. Most impressive car. The 777 manages to hold its own until a bad landing breaks an arm.

Not trying to persuade you to get a 777. Just trying to show that an old buggy can do just as well as newer cars by novice to amatuer racers. The difference only shows itself in pro drivers.

Used to work part time at an LHS an one of the most frequent question asked was how much faster a new buggy is compared to the older version. We always say its faster when trying to make a sale but truth is, the old one can be just as fast if tuned properly. It all comes down to the driver.
