Hi Randy, I'm working on my first build. Tekno sct410, Tekin RX8g2, HD4300, Radiopost Green, & MT4 Tx/Rx. I'm at about $1300 for everything. The one thing bothering me is the efficiency on 2s. Mainly run time & strain on the batteries. I plan on setting the current limiter at 70/75, the voltage cutoff at 3.3 per cell, & the throttle minimum at 0. I'm gonna run SMC 70c 6500 mah with a 17t pinion. I'd like to keep the temps down while getting the most out of my batteries. Enough for say a 8min main. Am I doing it right? I've heard of people puffing their batteries, and I'd like to avoid that. The logical answer (correct mr if I'm wrong) would be to run the HD3000kv. Lower temps, longer runs, better on the electronics, no puffed batteries, & more power? Correct? Problem is all my local tracks only allow 2s while racing. Do you see ROAR changing anything in light of evolving technology anytime soon? Seems like they are really holding Short Course back?
