    Hi,
Racing took a bit of a dive here, with the loss of Mikes Models (indoor off road) But we have a fairly local astro track (nothing big, it's also outdoors so will be nasty to race in the summer. RC Speedsports is the hobby shop that runs it. They are on Facebook.

Hopefully, something will come up locally. Thorn hill is about 2hrs away but they are reopening with an undercover dirt racetrack which looks great. 405 raceway is in OK city and a bunch of guys have gone there this weekend for the bigfoot race.

Banana RC is indoor carpet and mostly sedan racing.

    Catch you soon, happy racing!

    Good morning.

My name is Sean and I am going to be working in Texas and more than likely the DFW area. I am from Topeka, KS and have been racing rc for many years. I would like to bring my gear with me and run locally as I will probably have quite a bit of down time.

Any chance you could give me a heads up on what all is available in the area and Texas in general. I have been looking on the forums, but there are so many that I probably won't be able to locate. I always prefer to just ask the locals as they are the best source of info.

Thanks in advance. Maybe we will get to run together sometime soon. FYI.... I run mostly 1/10 indoor offroad dirt and carpet here, but in the summers offroad 1/8 has a decent turnout. I also have all of the onroad gear, but I do prefer it bumpy.
