I run at Hotrod Hobbies in Suagus, CA.
It is a medium sized 10th scale outdoor hard packed dirt track.
While they run the shootout and Reedy race there dry/blue groove, we run our club racing water prepped. I run slightly softer suspension than what you would run blue groove for these conditions.

If you can find the FT carbon arms and shock tower, you can make the body mount fit. Rather than drill holes in the new front 10.2 front body mount I just ended up buying the old style body mount as well but you have the SCB mount.

I struggled to get the 10.2 balanced well and not wander all over the place with the new front end. The old style front end is dialed. I went back to my 2010 FT setup and it on the money.

You know, that isn't entirely out of the question. The last SC10 I had was the original FT, and it was really dialed...I just had a love/hate relationship with the truck bodies and moved on to racing buggies. My 10.2 is actually converted to an SCB (man I hate the SC bodies lol) but next time i'm at the track I will look and see if they have the old stuff laying around to give it a shot! Worth a try for sure. I'll try anything once lol. Thanks for the tip! What kind of track do you run?

Saw your post on the 10.2
You may want to try the flat carbon front arms and old SC10 front tower.
While I can drive a fast lap with the new tower and gull wing arms, it is not nearly as stable and consistent as the old style front geometry. The truck wanders much less and easier to drive. My fast lap times are the same with both setups but my average lap times are much better with the old front geometry.
