Hello. I run the mid motor almost everywhere. Since the Serpent has a composite chassis it produces a lot of rear traction so you can run it on all kind of grip levels. If you race at FZRC then you can definitely run the mid motor there. It might be a little slick in the morning but once the track dries and it gets even a little groove you will be hooked. I race there at least once a month and always run the mid motor buggy.
Hey, I noticed you have a rear and mod motor serpent, which do you prefer. I am new at this and am looking at getting one of these. I run at the track in Sarasota that has decent grip but does get dusty fast. Thank you for your input, Shawn
