i have gone to Adams new SRS twice now, ironicly i ended up racing my 1/24 slot drag cars there. another one of my hobbies.

thinking about checking out the onroad scene up there but it's about 175-200 mile trip one way. if i get a old t-bar car scrapped together, i would have have to check weather religiously prior to going, make sure racers are not on a trip to ??????? or are at other various events. driving to tuscon and having rain come in out of no where would really sucks, even worse considering a trip to Mesa.

you live in PHX now or do you make alot of trips from tucson to mesa race onroad now?

around 2011 i went to tucson a few times, to see what was going on, but i could not get into it, deal with revamp, costs, etc, i went up other times, attendance was poor at both places, weather canxed races weeks at a time....interest faded. to top that gas prices were 3X what they are right now. last wednesday i got gas in tucson $1.21 a gallon

hearing Comp hobbies crashed due to mismanagement, etc, etc, which u probably know about was rather demoralizing. still in disbelief to this date.

i have been taking older gear and getting newer gear, and seeing what i have or still need just to get by. i have been trying to go to HT somewhat regularly. DNC race in PHX killed HT attendance this past wedsnesday so i skipped this saturday. will hit HT tomorrow

been running a kit stock 3 year old AE FT B4.1, no mods nothing extra. i need a updated buggy and better radio

hey, yeap been a long time

i always checked here, but never posted, since there was no point if not racing

as u know i left AZ in Dec 05, it was on short notice after receiving word from my lawyer in florida i finally had a deposition date, mediation date, and court date if needed. i had to drop everything and be there in 4 days. this was to deal with a divorce that lingered in the system 5 years due to ex-wife and her lawyers

after weeks of dealing with that i ended up in the midwest, which i think we type chatted on that when u asked. i was racing carpet at 3 tracks, asphalt at 2 tracks at the time. if i expanded to a 200m circle i could hit 4 more tracks that raced onroad. many midwest racers use other forums like hobbytalk

end of 2007 i was called about my dad in AZ, bad health, i had to drop everything again and come back. i ended up becoming his guardian and care giver till he passed on in 2010. during that time i could not make it to tucson to race
