When I first started looking at the MaxAmps Lipo's on there web site, I could of swore there was a choice of where you wanted the wire to come out of the battery .
I just ordered two Lipo 6000 2S2P 7.4v packs from my LHS , and I specified that I wanted them with 12g wire , Deans plugs , and the wire to come out on the top back corner.
I'm using them in my two Losi XXX & XXX-Ts and the battery strap goes right up the middle of the battery.
When I got them, all of the wires were coming right out of the top center of the battery, so I could not put the strap on .
The only way I could make it work , was to cut some of the shrink wrap, and try to fold the wires over to the side corner.
I tried to do it as carefully as I could , on the first one I started to get into some foil , and I got very concerned that I mite have done some damage to the battery.
The second one, I did not get into any foil, so now I got the wires were they need to be , but now I can't seem to find a way to cover and keep the wires over in the corner.
I tried electrical tape , and I looks good at first , but then it starts to shrink and bulged up to were it makes it hard to fit in the battery tray.
I check the web site now, and there is not a choice of were you want the wires to come out of the battery.
I don't understand why you can't specify were you want the wires to come out .
I seems to me, for Losi & Asso. that the top back corner would be the best location.

If you order directly for our website you can request the wire exit location in the comment box while you order. it's hard for LHS to try to do this because there are so many different chassis out there.
