I had read somewere else on this forum that is important not to leave your Lipo fully charged for more than 2-3 weeks. If it's going to be longer than that leave it at 50-70%. Is this true? If so why? I currently run 2 Maxamps 7.4v 5000mAh Lipos.

Yes store them at Half of there capacity if you plan on not using them for say more than three weeks. Also Cycle them once a month while being stored.This has become the standard for prolonging a Li-Po's life.
