MARCCA Indoor Season 2005 - 2006

Ha ha! You'd be surprised about the dirt. I ran sanded slick rear tires last time out. There is hardly any loose dirt to be found.
More info on this 4wd buggy please, it would be very interesting if Tamiya got into the game right now. Lots of new players in that market in the last year.

unfortunately, now with marcca going into the fall without a track , I think many of the truck'rs are just going to buy some rubber tires and run in the cheap dirt racing. Its going to be hard to get people to go back to carpet (which is a bit more a battery/motor war than dirt and just overall more expensive) after getting them all on dirt.
just MHO.
What madison needs is a top shelf onroad locale to complement the nice dirt track.

That's Ok, it's what those trucks are for anyway. Plus, most of the carpet on road guys were a little bitter about the damage that the trucks and the jumps did to the carpet.
I've heard that the folks at RCP are looking into on road for the future so maybe they can get more land or an adjacent building and set up a carpet track. Come run some dirt folks, it's a ball regardless of the cost savings (is saving money a bad thing?)

MARCCA Has a Building
MARCCA has secured a building for the indoor season. We are moving in this Saturday, November 19. Please come help us move so we can get the season going. Meet at the building at 10 AM.
Directions: The building is in the same general area as last years building.
Going south on Stoughton Road, turn left onto Pflaum Rd., then turn left onto Daniels. The address is 2310 Daniels St. The entrance is just to the right of the center of the building. Look for the 'MARCCA' sign.
