I know a few things were discussed at last months board meeting. Things were talked about at the drivers meeting that day too. Any updates as to where things are concerning indoors and outdoors??

I know that the board was discussing keeping the indoor facility through the summer. Happening or not? Details?

Someone from the board was to be meeting with the new Nelsons Crossing people to see if we could keep our outdoor operations there. Happen or not? Details?

Just wondering what is going on with our club.

I liked it when Brian did the minutes and posted them.

Now it a guessing game, speculation, rumors...

My thoughts:

Try to keep the indoor going.

Unless there's a really dedicated crew to operate the Nelson's spot, just go to Clark until he gets sick of hosting. Then in a few year we'll be refreshed and motivated to build and maintain our own track again.

A club without a track...??? Don't make much sence..indoor carpet numbers have been way down since marcca madness...I'm sure the club will make the best descion possible.. lets race

We had an outdoor track last year - but no one showed up to use, maintain or organize it.

Is it maybe just a change in time with less people racing around Madison all together or is it possibly a issue with the track being a ways away for people to get to on a consistent bases? I am just getting into racing and was not sure about numbers when the track was by the black bear?
I know I had a bunch of friends that were considering getting back into it that were around a couple of years ago if the track was closer to Madison. But they stopped going because of location.

I know people in the club Live all over but in my opinion the closer to madison it is I would be more for helping racing or what have you. It's just a haul to nelson's to go out and work on the track after work or whatever

Any info on the indoor/outdoor race program..or should we plan on clark being the spot for outdoor fun..time too race yet...
