Default 2012 indoor space needed

We are still looking for a space to rent for this winters racing. As usual we have great ideas but limited funds.

What we are looking for is

1. Somewhat close to Madison
2. Approximately 7,000 to 10,000 square foot - our last place was 5
3. Limited to no poles inside
4. A landlord who is willing to work with us on the rent money.

Please contact me with any leads that you can find that meet our needs. I will be negotiating the rent with board approval.

Hopefully we find a nice place with a good price. If not is last years building still available if we ended up being unlucky and not finding anything?

So far last years building is available last I checked a week or two ago.

A larger site would allow us to build bigger tracks which could be setup many more ways. It will also give us more pit space and more space for spectators. Overall, I think the club would grow due to the improved space.

Agreed with having it on the east side.. If its available. And a bigger building would definitely improve the club.

I have looked at the main Hanley dealership building. 8" square tile floor everywhere.

I will try to call him if I can find his number about other buildings.

Keep those ideas coming!

Most folks I have talked to do want an East side location. Right now the emphasis is getting any building at a price we can afford.

I know several places we can get just an awesome deal on but most of you would not like to drive to Baraboo.

I know a perfect place in Mount Horeb - But who wants to drive to Mount Horeb other than me.

Why don't you guys that want a place on the east side and live in that area start looking around. Its not that easy for us who live an hour away to drive around and look for large empty buildings that we could rent.

I am sure there are several places behind Engelhart - back in that business area around greenway cross and post road? Maybe Dennis Jones could drive around and look for addresses in that area after he's done at work, than we can look it up on Access dane and see who owns it and try to contact the owner.

I am sure there is some places back in the Advance road area? Somebody live or work around that area? That can look for empty places?

My point is we all need to be looking in the area's we live and work in.

If we don't ALL start looking, we will end up back at the dirty little place we had last year. It sure would be nice to find a bigger place.

Found out today that we MUST be out of the warehouses by the end of October. Still plenty of time to find the right place but we now have a deadline.

What about the old furnature store near the Princeton Club east (off Eagan Road)? That building has sat empty for a while now.
