Decoder Power Supply
#1
Monday we had probplems with the tracking system. It wouldn't detect the cars. We narrowed it down to the power supply for the decoder box. There appears to be a loose connection or a broken wire somewhere.
We did get it to work after jiggling the power supply cord, but I wonder how many of the problems we have had were due to this?
Just FYI.

Ever since we got that new system a few years ago, it has been consistently mistreated and caked with dirt and grime at the offroad track. The system is only 2 years old but it looks like it's 20 years old.
At one point last year Bob Stellflue helped me rewire part of it that had been ripped off; I'm not sure if that is the same issue but I do think I know what you're talking about.
