Carpet Challange Drift Class (anyone?)

Todd wanted to see how many people might want to run the drift class at the Carpet Challange. I think at this point we will be using 1" blue masking tape. It is Scotch Safe-Release Painters Masking Tape #2090 (Menards). It's cheap, easy and new-comers just showing up can easily do the drift class.

We need eight people to make a Carpet Challange class.

Here's 1.

Remember Ben Stein in Ferris Buellers Day Off? Remeber when he was asking his class questions? In that droning, dry, Ben Stein kind-of-way he was asking "Anyone?...Anyone?". Remember that?

That's what I feel like. Drift class? Anyone?...Anyone?....

Three of us now have the Yokomo Drift tires. They are perfect, IMO.

Since tires are pretty much what determines the performance of your car in this class (and driver skill) I think we will eventually have to require this tire.

Maybe MARCCA could buy some sets and rent them to people who just show up and want to try the drift class.

The athletic tape work very well, but I think we should limit it's use to newbies.

I think the athletic tape gave them a bit of an advantage if you ask me. I was only there watching and wrenching. In 2 weeks ill be there (this week going to work on my Talon in chicago) and Ill get some drift tires
