question
i've a question guys...what's the most effective kit in drifting? any specific kit or kahit ano pwede? :D
nice thread by the way.... |
the best cheapest kit for drifting... well, its... !!!
tamiya TL-01 (gulat ka no') hehehe TL-01's solid structure makes it good for drifting, sobrang tibay ng TL-01 :D as for tires, you can use PVC pipes as shown above :D drifting is a cheap fun way to play RCs :D |
any 4wd kit can be used for drifting... as long you use drift tires...
hey guys, i found out another cheap way to drift your cars !! i found out from other drifting forums that you can put electircal tape on your tires to make it lose traction, you can put like 5 turns of electircal tape on your tires... pero siyempre mas ok pa rin kung pvc ang gagamitin :D |
drift tires
hmmm....so instead of going to the hobby shop, I'll go straight to the hardware store na lang, hehe.

Drifting

Hey guys, try this out; a long time ago when Drifting was'nt part of the scene yet i did this when i could'nt find an open space to run my RC coz it was raining continously; I went to our neigboring
subdivision's clubhouse and it was all Marble flooring, i was using stock Tamiya treaded rubber, and when i tried it, man oh man, drifting galore- as in ten to twelve feet sideways. There is a very fine layer of dust on the floor's surface making it super slippery perfect for drifting. So if u dont want to spend yet on expensive Drift tires, you could try this method, basketball courts could also be an alternate surface...:weird: |
Hey guys i am somewhat new to drifting R/C cars, ive done it with my Xmod and a little with my Nitro car but now i want to get serious. I have looked around alot and have now found a good car that looks like it can drift, it has a adjustible suspension so i can mess with my camber. it is the Tamiya XB raybirg NSX RTR its on a TT-01 Chassis, so all i really have to do is get PVC pipe, just want to know if it is good for drifting?
here is a link to seee it: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFSG3&P=7 |

"hindi rin ako na enganyo sa pag gamit ng PVC tyres... sabi kasi sa ibang forum madaya daw yun... kaya natuto ako mag drift gamit ang type A tyres... pati nga sorex tyres pinang di-drift ko eh..." - slowed to drift...
pare, you can really drift with almost any kind of tires, pero... yeah mahirap... and, it can rip off your cars suspension arm (if stock) well, these are all based on my experience... i've been experimenting on all kinds of stuff para mapa drift yung car ko ng matagal dati, pero... when i found out about pvc, tingin ko yun na ang best cheapest way... also, hindi naman madaya ang pvc tires... kasi, its all about the drifting and the fun... even newbies can try to drift with pvc tires, kailangan lang ma learn ang steering and throtle control ng konti =) hehehe... dami rin pala drift fans sa pinas ... kala ko sobrang konti =) |
